An Online Evening with Environmentalist Charles Eisenstein

July 29, 2020 by Adrian

Join us for an online evening with one of the most important voices on climate today, renowned author and environmentalist, Charles Eisenstein.

As the culmination to the online book club hosted by New York Insight’s Sacred Earth Sangha, we will be hosting Eisenstein, author of our summer read Climate: A New Story. Charles will join us for an online talk and discussion as he helps us comprehend the climate crisis as part of a more complex and broader story than cutting carbon emissions. It is about healing our relationship with the planet and shifting our utilitarian worldview to one that is rooted in love, which in the process, may ultimately heal ourselves.

The evening will include a short meditation, a conversation with Eisenstein about the themes of his book, and time for Q&A with attendees.”

Political Hope Online Course

Political Hope…The power of truth and story

Recorded in January 2020, this course’s themes of political polarization, narrative warfare, and the breakdown of traditional political categories have become more and more relevant since. And the possibility of a radical shift, a change in our defining stories, has grown as well.

This course is offered by Commune, using recordings I made in their studio. Their business model is a free ten-day course, with paid option thereafter — different from the gift model on our site.

Please go to the Commune course page for more information and to register.

The More Beautiful World Our Hearts Know Is Possible

February 3, 2020 by Adrian

Our hearts know it, because we have seen it, experienced glimpses of what life and the world could be. Yet as individuals and a society, we carry habits and programs of the old and dying “Story of Separation.” We cannot easily know how to get from here to there; often, we doubt what we have seen.

This retreat is a deprogramming from the old story and an immersion in a new (and ancient) story. It crystallizes a next step toward the world we know is possible. It engages a great power within you, and it will inspire a hope that comprehends the full situation on this planet.

More Information:
See Omega website for details:  https://www.eomega.org/workshops/the-more-beautiful-world-our-hearts-know-is-possible

Note on special arrangements, from Omega’s website: There is no tuition for this workshop. Participants are required to stay on campus. At the end of the workshop, participants choose a self-determined tuition amount that reflects their feeling of value, gratitude, and desire to support Charles Eisenstein and his ongoing work.

Climate: A New Story – A Talk with Author Charles Eisenstein

October 17, 2019 by Adrian

Join Patagonia Denver as we host revolutionary climate change author Charles Eisenstein for a talk about the groundbreaking work he is doing.

Charles Eisenstein talks a lot about water, forests and soil—and the principle that life creates the conditions for life. He holds that there’s a relationship between the Earth’s climate and the social climate, and the political climate and the psychic climate. And that a love-based narrative can help to bridge polarized opinions on climate change. Join us at Patagonia Denver for an evening with Charles. We’ll also enjoy complimentary drinks and snacks.

Regenerative Earth Summit

October 17, 2019 by Adrian

Join At The Epicenter for the third annual Regenerative Earth Summit (RES19) – a unique convening of global leaders from across industry sectors, agriculture, academia and civic service. RES19 is outcomes based, recognizing the collaborative capacity to influence and accelerate systemic change by strategizing development of market incentives, policy, and supply investment that maximize benefit to people and planet. Viewing the earth as the source, not a resource, we will expand ourselves as an enriched community of stakeholders in regenerative action, exploring how to raise consumer understanding and move toward a diverse and inclusive economy that accelerates collaboration, transparency and urgency to heal our earth and ourselves.

I’ll be giving the Regenerative Slam™ Keynote on Wednesday morning at 9:00.
