Money & Love

August 16, 2017 by

Money is both a powerful agent of destruction as well as the main way we coordinate human creativity in our world today. It is a medium of generosity and of trauma, innovation and oppression. What does it take to heal the wound of money on a personal and systemic level? What does it take to align money with love?

These are the questions that motivate this gathering of exploration and healing.

Guided by author Charles Eisenstein, Gigi Coyle (Beyond Boundaries) and Orland Bishop (ShadeTree Multi Cultural Foundation) “Money and Love” looks to bring together multiple circles with diverse experiences focused on using money as a tool for positive social change.

Tapping into group intelligence through a series of interactive processes, this event is part of an emerging new psychology and culture of money.

You are invited –

Healing Biotopes

August 16, 2017 by

“There is the world, that we create, and there is the world, that has created us. These two worlds must come together. That is the goal of our journey.” — Dieter Duhm

Sabine Lichtenfels, Gigi Coyle , Charles Eisenstein, and Benjamin von Mendelssohn invite you for a two-day event in Berkeley, CA Friday, Sept 29th (10am-5pm) and Saturday, Sept 30th (10am-6pm)

2017 Healing Biotopes are experimental research centers that model a new culture where many worlds come together. They establish a social, ecological and economic framework allowing life’s self-healing powers to unfold and have a chance to truly shape human culture.

A Healing Biotopes aims to be a model which offers a new possibility for global healing.

This gathering will introduce the vision and work of the Healing Biotope as it has been emerging over the past 30 years in Tamera, Portugal, one of the world’s most radical experiments in the healing of love. The founding intention was to model system change in all areas of life.

Among other things the eros alive there and the transparency and truth within the community has catalyzed healing relations with the land, with the people and with all species. Tamera is not a community for community’s sake alone; it carries and lives practices of global relevance. It engages in outreach to other communities, some in crisis areas, and has supported and contributed to a more Global understanding, vision, and work.

Our time together will be more than informational. It will offer an experience of the “field” of the Healing Biotope, the worldview and practices that animate it. Come and join us in community in an old and new way of using this word. Explore what love without fear may truly look and feel like and how it might contribute to creating the world we want to live in.

“Our crises run so deep, that most of our attempts at solution are themselves part of the problem. Because human strife and ecological ruin reflect each other, genuine healing must touch both. At a time when the “old story” of relationship, marriage, agriculture, and civilization’s progress is breaking down, Healing Biotopes embody an important step toward a radically different narrative.” – Charles Eisenstein

The Rebel Soul: An Evening with Charles Eisenstein & Kelly Brogan

May 25, 2017 by

Join us as we explore important alternatives to how we see otherwise pathologized mental health conditions.

Krishnamurti once said, “It is no measure of health to be well-adjusted to a profoundly sick society.”

In this gathering, Charles Eisenstein and psychiatrist Dr. Kelly Brogan explore depression, ADHD, and other pathologized conditions as a kind of soul-level rebellion, a meaningful resistance to participation in life as it is offered to us, today.

We will discuss what it would mean to accept the invitation of these symptoms to a journey home to self and into a life experience that is our birthright.
