Session 7: Motivations

In this session and the next we launch our exploration of working in the gift, by which I mean applying the lens of gift to our economic life, of business and work. We begin with what to me has been a very fruitful question: “Why do you even want to do that?” Part 1 explores some of the problematic “shadow” motives, and Part 2 some of the more honest motives for wanting to make this transition. I hope the material will be useful even if this particular issue is not up for you.
