Session Three: Warrior, Lover, Magician, King

with Michael Rice

In this session, Michael Rice shares six stories from the workshops he leads for men, and (with his partner) for men and women. Here are some of the themes he brings forth:

  • Creating and experiencing a “field of yes” for masculine/feminine healing.
  • Penetrating the membrane through resonance and presence, and the disastrous consequences of male arrogance.
  • The Warrior’s power of intention.
  • The King on his throne.
  • The transformation of any emotion into love, and what that makes possible for wounded men.
  • Destructiveness and its relationship to creativity.

In the fourth story, a little over an hour into the material, you will receive a kind of homework assignment which will be reinforced by a guided meditation that Michael will lead us in. The assignment is to download and write out your personal declaration of self and of truth. Listen to the recording to understand it.

About Michael Michael Rice is a practical visionary, who transforms dreams into reality. A Bioarchitect, Master Geometer, Designer, Builder, Shaman, Warrior, Teacher and Healer, he skilfully bridges the worlds to support people to touch and express their deepest purpose and fullest potential and to manifest beauty and harmony in their lives and the lives of their loved ones. He also offers a series for men called Braveheart.

A Conversation with Michael Rice

Questions for Study, Meditation, and Discussion

  1. Take note of what the stories in the recorded session triggers in you: judgements, longing, revulsion, inspiration…
  2. Contemplate the following quotes:

    – “You can be in control without being controlling.”
  • “Aversion to violence can be aversion to confrontation in disguise.”
  • “it is out of fear that men act out violently.”
  1. Really explore what makes YOU act violently. By “violently” I don’t just mean physical violence. I mean any attempt to hurt another person, perhaps by a put-down, a passive-aggressive statement, a sneaky observation that sounds neutral but is subtly designed to make someone feel bad. Bring to mind a time when you did that. Without judgement, recreate the feeling you had in the split second before. Share this story on the Facebook group.

Optional NAAS Subscription

This course has run as a DIY course, and you are welcome to do it that way. However, for many people it is more powerful to work the material with a group. My business partner and former wife Patsy and I host a network community called A New and Ancient Story (short for NAAS). It is an online network dedicated to reverence in communication. If you would like to participate in it in conjunction with this course, go to the community landing page and read the introduction and posting guidelines. If you feel resonant, you can join through additional subscription. Once you are a member, you will find archives of discussions on course forums on the left menu as well as participating in many features NAAS offers
